National Geographic’s ‘Billy and Molly: An Otter Love Story’ to Open 18th Mumbai International Film Festival

Mumbai: The 18th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) is set to commence with the heartwarming National Geographic documentary, Billy and Molly: An Otter Love Story. Directed by Charlie Hamilton James, this captivating film will kick off the festival, which runs from June 15 to June 21, 2024, in Mumbai.

Opening Screenings Across Multiple Cities

The opening screening of Billy and Molly: An Otter Love Story will take place on June 15 at 2:30 PM at the National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC), Pedder Road in Mumbai. In a simultaneous release, the film will also be screened in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Pune at the same time. The venues for these cities are:

  • New Delhi: Siri Fort Auditorium
  • Chennai: NFDC Tagore Film Centre
  • Kolkata: Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI)
  • Pune: National Film Archive of India

Red Carpet Screenings

In addition to the simultaneous opening screenings, the documentary will be showcased during red carpet events in each of these cities:

  • Delhi: June 17
  • Chennai: June 18
  • Kolkata: June 19
  • Pune: June 20
