Nation-Wide Painting Competition Organized to Tackle Exam Stress Ahead of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024

New Delhi: In preparation for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, a nationwide initiative aimed at alleviating examination stress among students, a unique painting competition was conducted on January 23, 2024. The event took place across 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas, and 774 districts throughout India.

Over 60 thousand students enthusiastically participated in the mega event, themed around exam mantras derived from the book “Exam Warriors” written by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The competition coincided with ‘Parakram Diwas,’ observed on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, inspiring students with the life of the great leader and instilling a spirit of patriotism.

To foster creative expression among students, the Ministry of Education encouraged various activities in schools nationwide, including a painting competition. From January 12 (National Youth Day) to January 23, a range of activities such as marathon runs, music competitions, meme competitions, Nukkad Natak, poster making, and Yoga-cum-meditation sessions were organized.

On January 23, 2024, students and teachers across the country participated in the painting competition with great fervor and enthusiasm.

The 7th edition of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Interaction Programme, “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024,” witnessed a massive registration of 2.26 crore on the MyGov portal. This overwhelming response indicates the extensive enthusiasm among students nationwide, eager to participate in this distinctive event and interact with the Prime Minister.

Scheduled for January 29, 2024, from 11 am onwards at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, this year’s Pariksha Pe Charcha will adopt a town-hall format. Nearly 3000 participants will have the opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister during the program. Two students and a teacher from each state and union territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav, have been invited as special guests. Additionally, one hundred students from the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across the country will attend the event for the first time.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of a broader movement led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to create a stress-free environment for youngsters. The movement aims to bring together students, parents, teachers, and society to foster an atmosphere where the unique individuality of each child is celebrated and encouraged. At the heart of this movement is Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s bestselling book ‘Exam Warriors,’ available in English, Hindi, and other major regional languages.
