Mumbai Welcomes Triumphant Team India Amidst Scattered Showers

Mumbai: Despite scattered showers, the streets of Mumbai were flooded with enthusiastic fans on Thursday as they gathered to welcome the triumphant Team India contingent. The team landed in Delhi in the morning and later arrived in Mumbai to a hero’s welcome.

Thousands of cricket enthusiasts thronged the streets, creating a sea of people stretching from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium.

A specially designed open-top bus, adorned with pictures of winning moments and celebrations, carried the players and support staff from the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) to Wankhede Stadium, passing through Marine Drive and Nariman Point.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a prize money of Rs 125 crore for the team and organized a felicitation event at Wankhede Stadium.

Despite the rain, the spirits of the fans remained undampened as they celebrated the historic achievements of Team India.
