MoFPI Secretary Meets Industry Leaders to Boost Food Processing Machinery Sector

New Delhi: Dr. Subrata Gupta, Secretary of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), chaired a roundtable discussion with leading business representatives from the food processing and packaging machinery sector at Vigyan Bhawan Annexe. The meeting provided a platform for dialogue on the sector’s growth potential and explored practical solutions to enhance global competitiveness.

In his opening address, Dr. Gupta emphasized the crucial role of the equipment and machinery sector in advancing India’s food processing industry. He highlighted the importance of fostering research and innovation, adopting cutting-edge technologies, and bolstering collaboration among stakeholders to unlock the sector’s full potential. The session also delved into issues such as the availability of quality raw materials, regulatory requirements, and the need to support manufacturers of all scales.
