
Bhubaneswar: A model vending zone with 41 shops for women has been inaugurated at Dumduma in Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the zone.
Constructed by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the vending zone has all the necessary facilities like proper lighting, drinking water, toilet, seating facility, and a parking area.
Out of 41 shops, 30 have been allotted to women’s self-help groups (SHGs), three to Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS), and one to the members of Divyang SHG. The remaining shops will soon be allotted to eligible groups.
