
MoD with MyGov Organizes Online Contest for Beating Retreat Ceremony 2024
New Delhi: The Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, has launched an online contest to engage the public in bringing Indian tunes to the forefront during the Beating Retreat Ceremony at Vijay Chowk on January 29, 2024. The contest, scheduled from January 22 to January 29, invites participants to create video clips of themselves performing the tunes of the Beating Retreat Ceremony, either through vocal or instrumental modes.
The salient features of the contest are that the tunes (along with lyrics) are available on the MyGov platform, participants can upload video clips of 45-60 seconds on a dedicated platform on the MyGov portal and the contest is divided into two categories: Vocal and Instrumental.
The prize money for vocal category and instrumental category are Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 for first, second and third winners.
