The Twin City Commissionerate Police has tightened security for the T20I match at the Barabati Stadium. A total of 62 platoons of police have been deployed at the venue for the smooth conduct of the match.
Police Commissioner SK Priyadarshi informed that objects like coins, knives, bottles, lighters, matchboxes, and helmets which could be used as projectiles will not be allowed inside the stadium.
This apart, spectators will not be allowed to carry food or water with them inside the stadium. Food will be available at stalls set up by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) inside the stadium. Arrangement for drinking water has also been made by the OCA.
Wearing a mask has been made mandatory for the spectators. No one will be allowed inside the stadium without a mask.
A facility for parking vehicles for the general spectators has been made at the Baliyatra Ground.
