
Bhubaneswar: To promote Odisha’s rich cultural and social legacy, the Siddhi Binayak Charitable Trust is poised to host the Jayadev Gouraba Samman 2023 from December 20 to 22 at Goruhat Padia in the Bali Patana area of Bhubaneswar.
The three-day extravaganza would be graced by Bollywood icons Suniel Shetty and Gulshan Grover, alongside acclaimed artists from the Odia film industry. The events aim not only to celebrate cultural excellence but also to preserve the heritage, culture, and identity of the region. Jayadev Gouraba Samman 2023 will honour 250 individuals excelling in various fields, paying homage to the luminaries of Jayadev Constituency.
Day 1 – December 20: Cultural Extravaganza
Embarking on a cultural journey, the event features Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover, popular Odia comedian Papu Pam Pam, the mesmerizing performances of the Prince Dance Group, Khordha’s Paika Akhada, soul-stirring Odissi dance, and an array of diverse cultural programs.
Satyapriya Behera, Chairman of the trust, said, “We want the youth of the area to actively participate in the event and play their role in the development of the region.”
Day 2 – December 21: Odia Cultural Marvels Unveiled
The second day promises a showcase of Odia cultural marvels, with cultural performances by Odia film actress Archita Sahu, Bidusmita, comedian Pragyan, Shankar, and the soulful melodies of popular Odia singer Humane Sagar.
Day 3 – December 22: Bollywood Extravaganza
The grand finale on the third day will witness Bollywood luminary Suniel Shetty, Odia playback singer Ira Mohanty, and a talented team captivating the audience with their spellbinding cultural performances.
