Bhubaneswar: Air connectivity between Odisha and Maharashtra is set to receive a boost with IndiGo announcing daily non-stop flights between Pune and Bhubaneswar from October 25, 2026.
The new service, to be operated using an Airbus A320, will provide a direct connection between the two major education and information technology hubs, while also offering passengers a convenient late-night travel option.
As per the schedule, Flight 6E 6055 will depart from Pune at 11:50 PM and arrive in Bhubaneswar at 1:55 AM the following day.
In the return direction, Flight 6E 0441 will leave Bhubaneswar at 2:35 AM and reach Pune at 4:40 AM.
The daily service is expected to particularly benefit students, IT professionals and business travellers who frequently travel between the two cities. It is also likely to facilitate tourism and social travel between Odisha and Maharashtra.
With the addition of Pune, IndiGo will now connect Bhubaneswar with 15 destinations, further strengthening the state capital’s air connectivity with major cities across the country.
The new route is expected to provide passengers with greater choice and improve accessibility between two important economic and educational centres.
