India-Oman Joint Musical Performance Marks 75th Republic Day Celebrations in Muscat

Muscat: The Embassy of India in Oman orchestrated a remarkable celebration of India’s 75th Republic Day, featuring a unique and unprecedented joint musical performance that received accolades from none other than Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi himself.

The highlight of the Embassy’s Reception was an extraordinary India-Oman musical collaboration, a Jugalbandi that showcased the fusion of Indian classical dance and Omani musical prowess. Noted danseuse Aishwarya mesmerized the audience with a captivating Odissi dance performance, synchronizing her movements with the enchanting rendition of “Vande Mataram” by the Omani band, Scales Ensemble.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took to social media to express his appreciation, posting, “Very creative. I appreciate all those who were a part of this effort.” His recognition underscored the significance of cultural diplomacy in fostering stronger ties between nations.
