Goa:  India Energy Week 2024 is set to return from February 6 to 9 in Goa, building on the remarkable success of its 2023 edition inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Organized by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, the event aims to accelerate global dialogue on energy transition and security.

With over 35,000 attendees, 350 exhibitors, 400 speakers, and 4,000 delegates from 120 countries, India Energy Week 2024 is positioned as a prominent fixture in the global energy calendar. Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs, expressed the significance of India’s fastest-growing major economy and inviting investment climate in the energy landscape.

The event will host an extensive array of global exhibitors, covering core oil field services and providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration within the energy ecosystem. IEW 2024 is expected to be more grand, diverse, and impactful, following the success of its inaugural edition.

The coastal state of Goa will be the ideal host for this global gathering, showcasing India’s rising global stature in the energy ecosystem. The event will take place at the IPSHEM-ONGC Training Institute and will feature the participation of top energy sector policymakers from around the world.

Themes explored during IEW 2024 will include the energy transition of the global south, building a future-ready energy stack, the roadmap of alternate fuels, and the impact of localization, regionalization, and globalization on energy-related industrialization.

India’s success in ensuring energy security while addressing energy transition challenges will be a focal point of discussion, providing a template for global stakeholders to balance the dual challenges. IEW 2024 is expected to highlight India’s leadership in battling climate change and foster meaningful discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among industry experts, policymakers, academia, and entrepreneurs.
