Bhubaneswar: Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar has announced a new MTech programme in cybersecurity aimed at equipping working professionals with advanced skills to address growing digital security challenges.
The programme, which will begin on July 24, has been introduced in collaboration with WhizHack Technologies and will follow a blended learning approach combining academic instruction with practical industry-oriented training.
Officials said the course has been specially designed for engineers and professionals from various industries who wish to upgrade their expertise in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity while continuing their careers.
The programme will cover emerging areas including secure system design, cyber risk and compliance management, AI-based security solutions, blockchain security and advanced cyber attack-defence techniques.
The institute has also relaxed the conventional admission requirement by waiving the need for a GATE qualification. Admissions will be granted on the basis of academic performance and relevant work experience.
Applications for the programme are currently open, the institute said in an official statement.
