Honoring Educators and Inspiring Change: Learning Links Foundation’s Road to School Program Concludes with Recognition and Gratitude

Bhubaneswar:  Learning Links Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching lives through learning, proudly marks the successful completion of its flagship Road to School Program (RTS) in Odisha, India. Launched in collaboration with the Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha, and supported by IndusInd Bank, the program has been instrumental in bridging the learning gap, promoting holistic well-being, and empowering teachers in 100 government schools and over 120 urban communities since 2019.

The Road to School Program operates on three key dimensions: Learning Enhancement Program, Health and Hygiene, and Community Engagement. It aims to elevate students through academics, values, mindsets, access, and exposure, bringing them to their grade level while fostering their overall well-being.

The Foundation celebrated the successful completion of five years of dedicated service in a spectacular event on February 29, where educators and all stakeholders had gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the RTS program. The Teacher Empowerment Program (TEP), a vital component of the initiative, empowered champion educators across 40 schools, fostering joyful learning environments through student-centric pedagogy.

The Valediction and Award Ceremony, held to commemorate this significant milestone, saw the felicitation of Champion Teachers under the Teacher Empowerment Program. The event also recognized the unwavering support of 100 schools (including 2 special schools) for their contributions to the continuous success of the Road to School Program.

Dr. Prajyan Paramita Jena, Senior Block Education Officer, BMC, Khordha and Ms. Sudha Priyadarshan, Senior Vice President, Learning Links Foundation and Team Road To School Odisha graced the event as distinguished guests.

The ceremony highlighted the transformative power of education, with over 26,000 children’s lives touched along the Road to School. As the curtains close on the transformative journey of the Road to School Program in Odisha, Ms. Tejaswini Panigrahi, Program Manager at Learning Links Foundation, expressed sincere appreciation to the invaluable partners, sponsors, educators, and communities whose collective efforts have fueled the program’s success over the past five years.
