Anne Heche, best known for her roles in Six Days Seven Nights, Donnie Brasco, Volcano, I Know What You Did Last Summer passed away on Friday.
The 53-year-old actress had a major car accident on August 5 in which her car crashed into a two-story house in the Mar Vista neighborhood Los Angles. The car caught immediately fire, and it took 59 firefighters 65 minutes to fully extinguish the fire.
Anne received severe head injuries and burns in the accident. During her treatment she slept into coma and doctors informed that she had minimal chances of recovery.
