
Bhubaneswar: After declaring a five-day holiday for all schools across the state in view of the heatwave condition, Odisha Government on Tuesday announced the closure of all Anganwadi Centre (AWCs) in the state.
Given the prevailing heatwave condition, the Women and Child Development (W &CD) Department decided to close all AWCs across the state with effect from April 26 to 30.
The department wrote a letter to all district Collectors directing them to take necessary action in this regard.
