The warning spans across 29 districts of the state, with predictions indicating a significant rise in maximum temperatures by 4-6°C over the next 4 to 5 days.

Orange Warning: Heat wave conditions expected in several districts including Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Deogarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Rayagada.
