Hands-on Training on e-SAKSHI Portal for MPLAD Scheme Held in New Delhi

New Delhi: A hands-on training workshop on the e-SAKSHI portal for the new fund flow procedure under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) Scheme was organized by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) on January 22, 2025. The event was attended by representatives from the State Government of Haryana.   

The workshop was inaugurated by Puja Singh Mandol, Additional Secretary, MoSPI. The MPLADS Division provided comprehensive, hands-on training to the State Nodal Authority of Haryana, officials from all 22 districts of Haryana, and representatives from various Implementing Agencies of the Haryana Government. The event took place at the Constitution Club of India, with the primary objective of equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively navigate and utilize the e-SAKSHI portal.   

The e-SAKSHI portal is a key component of the new fund flow procedure under the MPLAD Scheme, which aims to streamline and enhance the transparency and efficiency of the fund utilization process. This training workshop was crucial in ensuring that all stakeholders involved in the implementation of MPLAD projects in Haryana are well-versed with the new system and can effectively utilize the e-SAKSHI portal for project planning, monitoring, and fund disbursement.   

The workshop focused on providing practical training on the e-SAKSHI portal, enabling participants to understand its functionalities and utilize it effectively. Representatives from the State Government of Haryana, including the State Nodal Authority, district officials, and implementing agencies, participated in the training. The primary objective was to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively navigate and utilize the e-SAKSHI portal for MPLAD Scheme implementation.   

The e-SAKSHI portal plays a crucial role in streamlining and enhancing the transparency and efficiency of the fund utilization process under the MPLAD Scheme. This training workshop is a significant step towards ensuring the successful implementation of the new fund flow procedure under the MPLAD Scheme in Haryana. By equipping stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills, MoSPI aims to enhance the transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of MPLAD projects in the state.
