Bhubaneswar: The picturesque Gopalpur Beach in Odisha’s Ganjam district is gearing up to host the much-anticipated Gopalpur Beach Festival, scheduled to commence on January 25 and extend through January 28, as revealed during the first preparatory meeting convened by the district administration.

Ganjam Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida shared insights into the preliminary plans, stating, “The beach festival is likely to begin on January 25 and continue till January 28. We will decide the final schedule of the festival in the coming days.”

This four-day extravaganza is expected to showcase the rich cultural tapestry of Odisha, with vibrant performances by cultural troupes hailing from Ganjam and other districts. A highlight of the festival will be the Palishree Mela, where artisans and members of women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will exhibit their diverse and exquisite products.
