Enterprise Odisha 2024 Concludes, Showcasing State’s Vibrant Industry Ecosystem

Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda witnessed the successful culmination of the 24th edition of Enterprise Odisha, a collaborative effort by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the State Government. The event, spanning three days, featured a diverse array of activities, including exhibitions, conferences, G2B and B2B meetings, and focused workshops for startups and women entrepreneurs.

As a flagship initiative of CII in partnership with the Odisha Government, Enterprise Odisha has played a pivotal role in fortifying the state’s industry ecosystem, establishing it as a prominent manufacturing hub in the country.

The exhibition segment showcased opportunities for potential vendors, supply chain players, ancillaries, and entrepreneurs in various sectors such as job work, contract manufacturing, raw material supply, packaging, and logistics. Additionally, the event featured products and services in technology, sustainability, infrastructure, logistics, renewable energy, e-commerce platforms, banking, NBFCs, microfinance institutions, lending agencies, trade departments of key countries, and various state government departments.

Addressing the gathering, Shiv Siddhant Narayan Kaul, Chairman, CII Eastern Region, commended the conducive investment and entrepreneurial environment created by the Odisha Government. Highlighting the significance of Jharsuguda as an industrial hub, he expressed gratitude for the government’s support in executing the initiative in the region.

Kaul emphasized the aim of accelerating the state’s development by fostering collaboration between large industrial units and MSMEs. He noted that the 24th edition of Enterprise Odisha has successfully bridged this gap, facilitating connections between large firms and MSME suppliers.

The event witnessed over 1,000 participants, 150 exhibitors, and 54 industry partners and associations. Notably, 58 companies from outside Odisha participated, along with delegations and diplomats from Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Myanmar, alongside industry leaders from Odisha and across the country. The event also saw the launch of a handbook titled “Opportunities for MSMEs.”
