Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Reviews Preparations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024

New Delhi: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024. The annual event, designed to address exam-related stress and foster a positive approach to life, has become a much-anticipated tradition for ExamWarriors, parents, and teachers alike.

Pradhan underscored the significance of Pariksha Pe Charcha as a platform for overcoming anxiety and delivering one’s best performance. He expressed widespread excitement among participants for the upcoming interaction with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at PPC 2024, an event considered the most sought-after interaction of the year.

“Pariksha Pe Charcha” (PPC) is a unique initiative led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aligning with the larger movement of ‘Exam Warriors.’ Organized by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, PPC has successfully engaged students, parents, and teachers for the past six years. The seventh edition has recorded a remarkable 2.26 crore registrations on the MyGov portal, reflecting nationwide enthusiasm among students.

Scheduled for January 29, 2024, the town-hall format at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, will host approximately 3000 participants interacting with the Prime Minister. Participants include two students and a teacher from each State and Union Territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav, and a hundred students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) attending for the first time.

The event’s selection process included an online MCQ competition on the MyGov portal, where participants submitted questions from December 11, 2023, to January 12, 2024. Selected participants will receive a Pariksha Pe Charcha kit, featuring the “Exam Warriors” book by the Prime Minister and a certificate.

Leading up to the main event, various school-level activities were organized nationwide from January 12 to January 23, 2024. These included marathon runs, music and meme competitions, nukkad natak, and student-anchor-student-guest discussions. On January 23, 2024, a painting competition themed around exam mantras from the book “Exam Warriors” took place in 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas across 774 Districts, engaging over 60 thousand students.

With immense anticipation surrounding the 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, the event remains pivotal in addressing exam stress and cultivating a positive learning culture among students, educators, and parents alike.
