Directs flights from Bhubaneswar to Singapore and Bangkok on june 3

Bhubaneswar: Direct flights to operate from Bhubaneswar to Singapore and Bangkok from June 3.

The Indigo airline has scheduled two flights a week to each destination from Biju Patnaik International Airport.

The state government has agreed to bear the costs of unsold tickets, with total ticket costs estimated to be around Rs 120 crore per year.

Currently the international terminal building at the airport is undergoing renovation and likely to be completed soon with all the necessary infrastructure.
