Deputy CM KV Singh Deo Visits Cyclone-Hit Talachua Village, Ensures Support for Affected Residents

Bhubaneswar:  In the wake of Cyclone Dana’s devastating impact on Kendrapara’s Talachua village, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo visited the area to assess relief efforts and ensure the provision of essential government services. Rajnagar constituency, where Talachua is located, was among the areas severely impacted by the cyclone.

During his visit, Singh Deo inspected the cyclone shelter facilities and met with residents to discuss their needs and address concerns related to relief and rehabilitation efforts. He emphasized the government’s commitment to providing timely support to those affected and directed local officials to swiftly resolve any issues faced by the cyclone victims.

Assigned to oversee relief and rescue operations in Kendrapara district, Singh Deo expressed gratitude to the community for their resilience and cooperation in the face of hardship. His visit underscored the state’s focus on ensuring rapid and effective assistance for recovery in the cyclone-stricken region.
