CRUT to Provide Special Bus Service for Rath Yatra Festival

Bhubaneswar: The much awaited Rath Yatra festival is set to begin on Sunday, and to facilitate the convenience of devotees, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will offer special bus services during the festivities. A total of 33 buses will operate on 7 inter-city routes and 1 intra-city route from July 7th to 9th and again from July 15th to 17th, 2024.

These buses will run from Khordha, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Kakatpur to the Talabania Bus Stand in Puri at regular intervals. The fare for inter-city routes is set at a flat rate of Rs. 80 for Non-AC and Rs. 100 for AC bus service. Additionally, Route No. 53 will be modified as Route 53 E (shuttle service), providing intra-city bus service from Malatipatpur to Talabania Bus Stand, Puri, with a flat fare of Rs. 20.

During this period, services on Routes AE1, AE2, 60, 61, and 52 will be suspended. Regular service will resume from July 10th to 14th, 2024.

Devotees can expect a smooth journey to their destinations by using this special bus service, which will operate throughout the day at regular intervals for the convenience of commuters.
