CPI(M) Announces Candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the upcoming General and Assembly elections in Odisha, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] announced its candidates for one Lok Sabha constituency and seven Assembly constituencies in the state.

Senior CPI(M) leader Janardan Pati addressed a press conference in Bhubaneswar today, unveiling the party’s lineup for the electoral battle. The CPI(M), a key constituent of the I.N.D.I.A. alliance, revealed its contenders for various seats, aiming to make its mark in the political landscape of Odisha.

The party’s candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats are as follows:

Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat: Suresh Panigrahi
Bonai Assembly seat: Laxman Munda
Nilagiri Assembly seat: Jogananda Das
Ranpur Assembly seat: Saroj Nayak
Khordha Assembly seat: Girish Moharana
Salipur Assembly seat: Badrinarayan Das
Morada Assembly seat: Mrutanjay Behera
Chitrakonda Assembly seat: Raghunath Hantal
