Covid-19 scare in IPL: Today’s KKR vs RCB match got rescheduled

After today’s IPL match between KKR and RCB was postponed following detection of Covid-19 infection in two KKR players, the CSK team has canceled their practice session as three members of their staff including CEO Kasi Viswanath and bowling coach L Balaji tested positive for coronavirus. Besides, few members of the of ground staff of Arun Jeitley stadium have also tested positive.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrior have tested positive for the virus while other players have come negative. As per BCCI sources, the match has been rescheduled.

Meanwhile, those tested positive in Chennai Super Kings contingent, have come negative in a follow up test held on Monday. The BCCI sources informed that the Sunday Covid-19 report was false positive.
