Commonwealth Games 2022: Sprinter Dutee Chand fails to qualify for 100m semis

Bhubaneswar: Ace sprinter Dutee Chand is out of the women’s 100m event at Commonwealth Games-2022 in Birmingham as she failed to qualify for the semi-final round on Tuesday.

She clocked 11.55 seconds to finish the race of heat no.5.

The first three runners in each heat and the next three fastest runners qualified for the semi-final round. There were seven heats

Dutee finished 27th among the 50 runners in the 100m heats.
