CM Naveen Patnaik Waives Rent of Odisha Bhawan In Navi Mumbai

Bhubaneswar: Showing solidarity towards the people of Mumbai who are battling the second wave of Covid19, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday waived off the rent of Odisha Bhawan in Navi Mumbai.

The Odisha Bhawan is being used by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) as a quarantine centre for health workers since April 2020. The cost of rent which is around Rs 2.16 crore which Chief minister has ordered to abolish.

Odisha has also been supplying oxygen to Maharashtra to fight the pandemic.
