
Chief Minister's Grievance Cell Closed on July 29 Due to Vidhan Sabha Session
Bhubaneswar: Ahead of his two-day visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his intent to secure substantial investments for Odisha. Speaking before his departure, CM Majhi said, “My goal is to draw a significant number of investors to Odisha. During my visit to Delhi, I will engage in one-on-one discussions with various investors and participate in an investor’s conference, encouraging them to invest in Odisha.”
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the upcoming Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, scheduled for January 28 and 29 next year. He outlined the state’s focus on attracting investment in key sectors such as food processing, IT, chemicals, and petrochemicals, which are poised to drive Odisha’s industrial growth. “Our objective is to attract a capital investment of ₹5 lakh crore over the next five years,” he added.
Highlighting the state’s recent achievements, CM Majhi noted that Odisha has already secured ₹45,000 crore in capital investments over the past 100 days. Accompanied by the Industry Minister and department officials, the Chief Minister aims to build on this momentum during his New Delhi visit.
“With the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath, I am committed to leading Odisha towards rapid industrialization. The Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 will significantly contribute to the state’s industrial development. I embark on this endeavor with the support and blessings of the people of Odisha,” CM Majhi concluded.
