
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated 361 revamped schools across five districts on the third day of the fourth phase of the school transformation program under the 5T initiative.
A total of 361 schools were inaugurated, including 105 high schools in Mayurbhanj, 100 in Balangir, 63 in Sambalpur, 60 in Rayagada, and 33 in Nuapada. The Chief Minister had previously inaugurated 389 schools in five districts on the first day of the fourth phase and 327 schools in six districts on the second day. The ongoing phase aims to cover a total of 1,794 schools across the state.
During the event, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik emphasized the vital role that schools play in shaping the future of any society. He reiterated the government’s commitment to the transformation of schools, colleges, tourist destinations, temples, mutts, and hospitals. Patnaik emphasized that education is a cornerstone for societal development and progress.
“In our pursuit to build a strong Odisha, the government is dedicated to the comprehensive transformation of various institutions. The ongoing school transformation program is a crucial step towards providing quality education and fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth,” said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during the inauguration ceremony.
