
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik undertook a spiritual journey to Puri today, marking the 7th day since the launch of the Parikrama project. Accompanied by VK Pandian, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, Patnaik strolled around the recently inaugurated Parikrama project.
During his visit, the Chief Minister made his way to the revered Jagannath Temple, where he sought the divine blessings and experienced firsthand the enhanced facilities provided for the devotees. Patnaik offered prayers for the prosperity and well-being of the people.
Expressing profound satisfaction with the grandeur of the project and the spiritual ambiance, Patnaik emphasized that the Parikrama project would create a spiritually enriching environment for devotees for generations to come.
Inaugurated on January 17, the ambitious project holds significance in terms of enhancing the temple’s security, facilitating various festivals of the trinity, and ensuring the convenience of devotees. The 75-meter wide circumnavigation project around the shrine boasts impressive aesthetics.
Devotees can now avail themselves of several facilities, including a cloakroom, information center, and amphitheater, amidst a beautiful green environment adorned with exquisite Khandalites stone work. The Parikrama project stands as a testament to the commitment to spiritual enhancement and the overall convenience of devotees visiting the sacred Jagannath Temple.
