Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian Reviews Development Projects in Gajapati and Dhenkanal Districts

 

Bhubaneswar:  Following the directives of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian embarked on a visit to Gajapati and Dhenkanal Districts to assess the progress of ongoing developmental initiatives and engage with local communities.

In Gajapati, Kartik Pandian participated in the Maha Guru Abhisheka ceremony at Padmasambhava Monastery, Jiranga. He offered prayers, interacted with priests and devotees, and reviewed the development progress of the Monastery, a project sanctioned at Rs 2.68 Crores following his previous visit in May last year.

Afterwards, Kartik Pandian held discussions with the district collector and senior officials to review the status of various development projects. He emphasized the importance of adhering to timelines and directed officials to ensure seamless project implementation.

Moving to Dhenkanal, Kartik Pandian participated in the Nua-O Program, interacting with students from all colleges. During the interaction, he underscored the significance of the Nua-O program, providing a platform for youth to showcase their talents and fostering overall personality development alongside academic achievements. He encouraged students to work diligently, instilling self-confidence to achieve success in their lives.

Addressing the students, Kartik Pandian highlighted the achievements of notable personalities from Dhenkanal district, including Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, IPS Officer Anoop Kumar Sahoo, late Justice Gati Krushna Mishra, Padmashree Dr. Antaryami Mishra, and late mountaineer Kalpana Das. He motivated the students to draw inspiration from these role models who emerged from various Govt Schools and Colleges in Dhenkanal.

In the realm of education, transformation works are underway in 56 Govt. and Aided colleges and Higher Secondary Schools in Dhenkanal district, with an allocation of Rs 34.50 crores. Kartik Pandian reviewed the progress and urged the administration to ensure the timely completion of these projects by February.

Additionally, major projects initiated in Dhenkanal were revisited, many of which were set in motion after Kartik Pandian’s previous visit to the district in July 2023. During that visit, he actively participated in grievance meetings, gathering public feedback to enhance project effectiveness and address community concerns.
