Bhubaneswar Patho Utsav Set to Kick Off on December 29

Bhubaneswar: The much awaited Patha Utsav is scheduled to begin on December 29, 2024.

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced the festival in a post on X, confirming that the Patho Utsav will be held at Master Canteen at 6 am on Sunday, December 29. This follows the postponement of the event due to inclement weather conditions, which had initially been planned for December 22, 2024. Similarly, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) had also deferred its Patho Utsav scheduled for the same date.

Officials stated that this year’s Patho Utsav holds special significance as it serves as a prelude to the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention. Bhubaneswar will host the convention from January 8-10, 2025, which further enhances the cultural significance of the festival.

The Patho Utsav will feature a diverse range of activities, including quiz competitions, skating, yoga sessions, and cycling events, ensuring participation from people of all age groups. Additionally, Odisha’s rich history, culture, and heritage will be prominently showcased throughout the festival.
