Bharat NCX 2024 Inaugurated: Showcasing Cybersecurity Innovation and Collaboration

New Delhi: The Bharat CISO’s Conclave and Bharat Cybersecurity Startup Exhibition, key components of the Bharat National Cybersecurity Exercise (Bharat NCX) 2024, were inaugurated today, marking a significant milestone in India’s efforts to enhance its cybersecurity ecosystem.

Organized by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), the event underscored India’s commitment to fortifying digital infrastructure, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration across sectors to address evolving cyber threats.

The CISO’s Conclave brought together cybersecurity leaders from various domains for knowledge exchange, strategic dialogue, and exploration of advanced solutions to strengthen the nation’s cyber defenses. Highlighting the importance of unified leadership, the conclave focused on building a resilient and forward-looking cybersecurity framework.

In his inaugural address, Lt. Gen. M.U. Nair (Retd.), National Cyber Security Coordinator, stressed the urgency of proactive measures and multi-sector collaboration to combat sophisticated cyber threats. Deputy National Security Advisor (Technology & Intelligence), T.V. Ravichandran, emphasized leveraging emerging technologies to safeguard national security and address complex cybersecurity challenges.

The event also saw the release of the National Cybersecurity Reference Framework (NCRF) and the launch of National Cyber Range 1.0 (NCR-1.0), key initiatives aimed at strengthening India’s cybersecurity capabilities and readiness.

Complementing the conclave, the Bharat Cybersecurity Startup Exhibition highlighted cutting-edge solutions from leading Indian startups. The exhibition focused on areas such as threat intelligence, operational technology (OT) security, and advanced analytics, showcasing India’s growing entrepreneurial potential in the cybersecurity sector.

Bharat NCX 2024 stands as a testament to India’s strategic focus on cybersecurity resilience, innovation, and collaboration, aiming to secure the nation’s digital landscape and foster a robust ecosystem for addressing future challenges.
