Bangladesh to Host Indian Women’s Cricket Team for Five-Match T20I Series in April-May 2024

Dhaka:  In a major development for cricket enthusiasts, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that it will host the Indian women’s cricket team for a five-match T20 International (T20I) series. The much-anticipated series is set to take place at the prestigious Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from April 28 to May 9, 2024.

The draft itinerary prepared by the BCB outlines the schedule for all five matches, promising an exciting showdown between the two cricketing powerhouses. This series, however, is not part of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Future Tour Programme, adding an element of surprise and excitement for fans.

The Indian women’s team is expected to touch down in Bangladesh on April 25, marking the beginning of a series that will captivate cricket enthusiasts across both nations. The series against India comes hot on the heels of Australia’s tour of Bangladesh, which includes three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and an equal number of T20Is.
