Amrit Udyan to Open Exclusively for Teachers on Teachers’ Day

New Delhi: In celebration of Teachers’ Day, the Amrit Udyan will be exclusively open to all teachers tomorrow, September 5, 2024. The garden, which is part of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, will welcome educators through Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue Road. To facilitate their visit, a free shuttle bus service will be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.

The Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, 2024, is currently open to the public from August 16 to September 15, 2024. Visitors can explore the garden from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:15 PM. The garden is closed on Mondays. Entry to the garden is free of cost, and slots can be booked online via the Rashtrapati Bhavan website here. Walk-in visitors can also register at the Self Service Kiosks located outside Gate No. 35.

Since the opening of the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, over 150,000 visitors have explored the garden. During their visit, guests receive a seed paper to help spread environmental awareness.
