Bhubaneswar: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Odisha Government has appointed Amrit Ruturaj, a 2015 Batch IAS officer, as the new Collector of Dhenkanal District. Ruturaj, who previously served as the Labour Commissioner of Odisha, assumes his new role following a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department. His appointment comes after the Election Commission of India (ECI) mandated the transfer of the former Dhenkanal Collector, Manoranjan Mallick, on Thursday.
Additionally, the Odisha Government has appointed new Superintendents of Police (SP) for Deogarh and Cuttack Rural districts. Anupama James will now serve as the SP of Deogarh, while L Divya assumes the role of Cuttack Rural SP. These appointments reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening law enforcement and maintaining public safety across various districts of the state.
