
New Delhi: The much-anticipated annual pilgrimage to the revered Amarnath Cave Shrine is set to commence on June 29, 2024, and will culminate on August 19, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Shravan Purnima.
In a significant announcement, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), under the leadership of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, confirmed the dates for this year’s Amarnath Yatra. The pilgrimage, which attracts thousands of devotees from across the country, holds immense religious significance and is a cherished tradition for millions of Hindus.
According to the statement issued by the SASB, devotees planning to embark on the pilgrimage can commence their advance registration process starting from April 15. This early registration period allows pilgrims to secure their spot for the sacred journey well in advance, ensuring a smoother and organized pilgrimage experience.
