Air Vice Marshal Manmeet Singh Takes Over as Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration at Western Air Command

New Delhi: Air Vice Marshal Manmeet Singh assumed the role of Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration (SOA) at the Headquarters Western Air Command, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career with the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Commissioned into the Administration Branch of the IAF on June 13, 1992, Air Vice Marshal Manmeet Singh brings over three decades of exemplary service to this critical position.

An alumnus of the National Defence College and the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, Air Vice Marshal Manmeet Singh is highly regarded for his academic and professional acumen. He holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), Faridabad.

Throughout his illustrious career, Air Vice Marshal Singh has held key appointments across various operational units, Command Headquarters, and Air Headquarters. His extensive experience spans critical roles that have contributed significantly to the operational readiness and administrative excellence of the Indian Air Force.

As SOA at the Western Air Command, Air Vice Marshal Singh will oversee a wide range of administrative functions critical to supporting the operational and strategic objectives of one of the most pivotal commands of the IAF. His leadership is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and foster operational synergy within the command.

The Indian Air Force continues to prioritize the appointment of experienced and dynamic leaders like Air Vice Marshal Manmeet Singh to key positions, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of operational preparedness and administrative excellence.
