AICC Announces Changes in Candidates for Odisha Assembly Elections

Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced changes in candidates for five Assembly seats in the state on Sunday.

The party’s decision to shuffle candidates reflects its strategic approach to strengthen its position in key constituencies across Odisha.

Among the changes, the AICC named Akshaya Acharya as its candidate for the Nilagiri Assembly seat, adding a new dimension to the electoral landscape in the region.

Furthermore, the Congress altered its candidates for the Jaleswar, Bari, Athamallik, Athagarh, and Puri seats, indicating a dynamic response to evolving political dynamics and local considerations.
