
Indore: After cases of black, white and yellow being reported across the country, reports of another fungus has emerged.
The first case of green fungus has been reported from Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
As per information, a 34 year old man who has recovered after battling COVID-19 started experiencing nose bleeds and fever. Doctors asked him to undergo a few tests suspecting the contraction of black fungus, however after tests it was found that he has been infected with green fungus.
Green fungus or Aspergillosis is a rare infection that affects the lungs. As per doctors the medication for the green fungus is different from black fungus. Only further research would help to understand the type.
