Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra arrested by Mumbai Police

Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband, businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested by Mumbai police for being allegedly involved in a crime related to making and circulating pornographic films. The co-owner of IPL team Rajasthan Royals, Kundra is believed to be a key conspirator of the crime.

The police informed that they have sufficient evidences against him. But they added that further investigations are on. The case is related to making and publishing pornographic films in some apps. A police complaint was lodged in February this year and the police registered a case against some people including Kundra. “A case was registered with the Crime Branch Police, Mumbai in February 2021. Following an investigation, sufficient evidence was found against Kundra following which he was arrested,” said the Mumbai police Commissioner in a statement.

Raj Kundra has denied any wrongdoing and has sought an anticipatory bail in the case.

Actress Shilpa Shetty had married Kundra in 2009, and they welcomed their first child in 2012. Their second child, a girl was born through surrogacy last year.
