A few scenes of movie ‘Puspa 2’ to be shot in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Good news for cine lovers of Odisha as a few scenes of the upcoming movie ‘Pushpa 2’ starring Allu Arjun will be shot in the Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district.

The local administration has granted permission in this regard to the concerned production house.

A six-member team led by production manager P. Venketeswar Rao, fight master Peter Hein, art director Ramakrishna, fight master Dragon Prakash, co-producer K.V.V. Bala Subramanyam, cinematographer Mein Devraj and other crew members visited  Hantalaguda, Sarkubandha Hanging Bridge, Chitrakonda and other locations in Malkangiri ahead of the shooting.

They met the District Collector and SP to seek permission for the shooting, which is likely to start by the first week of May. They also assured the officials regarding adherence to rules and regulations during the shooting.

After the huge success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, cine lovers are eagerly waiting for its sequel. The makers released the poster and trailer of ‘Puspa 2’ on Allu Arjun’s birthday. The much-awaited movie is likely to hit theatres across the country in 2024.
