Odisha Govt Assigns Additional Charges to Five IAS Officers in Minor Reshuffle

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to streamline administrative operations across key urban and industrial institutions, the Odisha Government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in its IAS cadre by assigning additional responsibilities to five IAS officers. The changes, aimed at strengthening coordination and governance, take immediate effect as per a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.

Aboli Sunil Naravane, a 2015-batch IAS officer and current Director of Industries in Cuttack, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. She will now serve concurrently as the Managing Director of both the Odisha Small Industries Corporation and the Odisha State Financial Corporation, enhancing her leadership across key state-run industrial support bodies.

In Rourkela, IAS officer Dheenah Dastageer (RR-2021), currently posted as Additional District Magistrate, will continue to hold additional charges as Commissioner of the Rourkela Municipal Corporation, Chief Executive Officer of Rourkela Smart City Ltd., and Secretary of the Rourkela Development Authority — consolidating key urban governance portfolios under her leadership.

Rehan Khatri, IAS (RR-2021), serving as Commissioner of Sambalpur Municipal Corporation, will retain his additional charge as Vice-Chairman of the Sambalpur Development Authority. This dual role is expected to support integrated planning and urban management in the western Odisha city.
