The Czech player, known for her strategic baseline play, capitalized on her opponent’s errors, closing out the match with precision on Court One, under its open roof for this special occasion.
Krejcikova, the 31st seed, will now face off against Rybakina in the semi-finals. Krejcikova’s journey at Wimbledon has been marked by resilience and skill, setting up a thrilling clash against Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon champion, on Thursday, July 11.
