Bhubaneswar: In a remarkable acknowledgment of Odisha’s strides in the education sector, the State Government’s Mo School Abhiyan and High School Transformation Programme have been honored with the prestigious Skoch Gold Awards. This recognition reflects the State Government’s steadfast commitment to fortifying the school ecosystem.
The Mo School Abhiyan Parichalana Sangathan, through its ‘X’ handle, joyfully announced, “Delighted to share that Mo School Abhiyan and High School Transformation Programme have been honored with the esteemed Skoch Gold Awards. This accolade underscores our dedication to strengthening the School Eco System in Odisha.”
Anupam Saha, State Project Director, OSEPA, graciously accepted the prestigious awards on behalf of the State Government.
Mo School Abhiyan, initiated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has successfully established a vibrant platform for alumni and citizens to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the revitalization of government and government-aided schools in the State.
Similarly, the High School Transformation Programme, a visionary project under Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T initiatives, has ushered in revolutionary changes in government-run high schools across the State, ensuring better infrastructure facilities and quality education.
During the first three phases of the High School Transformation Programme, 6883 schools in the State underwent transformation. Upon completion of the fourth phase, a total of 8677 schools are slated for transformation in Odisha. The awards signify the State’s dedication to elevating the standards of education and nurturing a conducive learning environment.
