
Rayagada: The establishment of the Rayagada Railway Division has received a major boost with the allocation of ₹70 crore for the project, as announced by the Minister of Railways today. The Minister shared this update with the media following discussions with Member of Parliament Balabhadra Majhi.
Railway Minister Vaishnaw confirmed that the design plan for the division is in its final stages and that construction work will commence at the earliest. This significant allocation marks a pivotal step forward in the development of the Rayagada Railway Division.
Member of Parliament Balabhadra Majhi expressed his appreciation to the Railway Minister for addressing the long-awaited and public-centric issue of the Rayagada Railway Division. “I thank the Railway Minister for his support,” Majhi said. “We have had comprehensive discussions with the Minister, and I am pleased to announce that most of the formalities for the establishment of the Rayagada Division are nearly complete. Work will begin soon once the tenders are finalized.”
