Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Embarks on a Two-Day Tour to Mumbai, Puducherry, and Cuddalore

New Delhi: The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, is set to embark on a two-day tour spanning Mumbai, Puducherry, and Cuddalore on January 28-29, 2024, in a bid to engage with various events and communities in these regions.

On the first day, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will be a keynote speaker at the Closing Ceremony of the 84th Conference of Presiding Officers of Legislative Bodies of India. This prestigious event will take place at the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Following this, the Vice-President will engage in a special interaction with students of Pondicherry University. The theme of the interaction is “VIKSIT BHARAT@2047,” where Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will share insights and perspectives with the students.

On the second day of his tour, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will commence the day by offering prayers and having darshan at Shri Thillai Natarajar Temple, Babaji Temple, and Sri Ellai Amman Temple in the Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu. This reflects the Vice-President’s commitment to spiritual and cultural engagements.

The two-day tour aims to strengthen the bond between the Vice-President and the diverse communities in these regions. Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar’s participation in important events and interactions with students underscores the significance of dialogue and engagement for the progress and unity of the nation.

The tour is expected to be marked by significant interactions and cultural experiences, reflecting the rich tapestry of India’s diversity.
