Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Inaugurates NCC Republic Day Camp 2025 in Delhi

New Delhi: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar formally inaugurated the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp-2025 at Delhi Cantt, marking the beginning of a vibrant series of events leading up to the Prime Minister’s Rally on January 27, 2025.

This year, the camp brings together 2,361 cadets, including 917 girl cadets, representing all 17 NCC Directorates across the nation. Participants will engage in various activities, including cultural programmes and institutional training competitions, reflecting the spirit of unity and excellence that defines the NCC.

The event commenced with a Guard of Honour presented to the Vice President by a contingent of NCC cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings.

Addressing the cadets, Vice President Dhankhar emphasized the significance of five fundamental pillars—Social Harmony, Family Enlightenment, Environmental Protection, Honouring Bharat Maa, and Swadeshi & Self-Reliance—as the foundation of India’s national transformation.

“These Panch-Prana forge an unstoppable nationalistic spirit, weaving together individual responsibility, traditional values, and environmental awareness to guide India’s journey towards cultural pride, unity, and self-reliance,” he remarked.

Encouraging cadets to commit themselves to the nation’s progress, the Vice President highlighted their pivotal role in shaping India’s future. “Our dedication to the motherland must be steadfast, unflinching, and unshakeable, as it is the foundation of our existence. Your generation will architect India’s glory as we march towards 2047,” he said.

The inauguration ceremony also featured a spectacular cultural programme by the cadets, showcasing India’s rich heritage and diverse traditions.

Concluding his address, Vice President Dhankhar congratulated the NCC cadets on their participation in the Republic Day Camp 2025 and extended his best wishes for their continued success.
