
New Delhi: The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, inaugurated the International Maritime Seminar today, a significant component of MILAN 2024. The seminar served as a nexus for global maritime excellence, fostering collaboration and growth among nations across the oceans.
Attended by the Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy, Naval Chiefs of Friendly Foreign Countries, senior dignitaries, and delegates, including Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and naval officers, the seminar highlighted the importance of international dialogue and cooperation in the maritime domain.
Themed “Partners across Oceans: Collaboration, Synergy, Growth,” the seminar featured presentations and discussions on critical topics, including economic growth, maritime security, capacity building, climate change mitigation, blue economy initiatives, and sustainable development of maritime infrastructure.
The International Maritime Seminar, an integral part of MILAN 2024, demonstrated the enduring significance of international cooperation in addressing challenges and opportunities in the global maritime community.
