
Bhubaneswar: The Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Junior Team Championship was successfully held as part of the ongoing Junior & Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championships 2026–27 in Bhubaneswar, showcasing impressive performances from young gymnasts across the country.
Teams from multiple states competed at the national level, demonstrating skill, coordination, and competitive spirit. Uttar Pradesh emerged as the champion, securing the top position, followed by Maharashtra in second place and West Bengal in third. Delhi finished fourth, while host state Odisha delivered a strong performance to secure the fifth position.
The championship has drawn attention for the high standard of competition and the emergence of promising talent in Indian gymnastics. Odisha’s performance, in particular, was seen as encouraging, reflecting the state’s growing focus on sports development and infrastructure.
Officials noted that the event continues to serve as an important platform for identifying and nurturing future champions, with participants gaining valuable exposure at the national level.
The championships are currently underway in Bhubaneswar and will continue with further events in the coming days.
